Hey, Zombies. I think you all want to know about my experience with TPR, am I right? I wasn’t going to write everything but Rogger told me you want it so bad! So, Renata here to update you all about my experience with the shows and everything else.

SÃO PAULO (04/08/2012):

So, I was waiting the gates to open in São Paulo with some friends of mine and I got a message from a fan telling me she needed to meet me, cause she loves the site. So, after a while (cause I was busy), I went to meet her and her friend. She took a picture of me and said that Taylor Momsen Net is the best site ever. I’m so glad you all love what we do, we really appreciate it! Here’s the picture I took with Bruna:

We could see lots of different people waiting in line. A lot of home made t-shirts, with amazing designs! You guys know how to be creative, I love it! We heard the soundcheck and all the zombies were so excited, it was an amazing energy. Then, we got inside the HSBC Brasil. Zombies running, screaming and trying to be as close as they could from the stage. Here in Brazil we have the VIP section (which is more expensive) and the Common section, divided by a thick fence made of metal. So, I was inside the VIP section and I could see the fans starting to faint and screaming for help, cause it was so hot and people were trying to be as close as they could, so it was hard to let them breathe. I bought a bottle of water to some girls, cause I was in shock. More than 15 people were fainting and feeling so dizzy. But don’t worry, we had some firemen there to help them. All good. We could listen to several rock and metal songs when we were waiting the show to start, and I went crazy cause I love System Of A Down, and everyone was singing, especially Aerials, haha! Nice. So.. when the lights went off.. All I could listen to was people screaming like there’s no tomorrow. My ears were hurting so bad! I swear to God I’ve never heard a crowd louder than São Paulo. I could feel deep inside the energy of each one of you! When the band was already on the stage, the crowd went crazy! They started playing Hit Me Like a Man and I think I didn’t hear Taylor’s voice. The crowd was singing along louder than Taylor. And I was just smiling and thinking ‘I can’t believe it.. This is more than I was expecting to see!!’. I tried to update the Twitter but I had 10% of my iPhone battery and I had to meet the band after the concert so I thought it
was better if I turned my phone off.

When they were playing the last song (Nothing Left To Lose), I went to the Merch to wait for John or Scotty, to put two friends of mine and I inside the M&G area. After a while I saw Scotty and he helped us, told me that I was going to be the last person to meet the band. I was there with everyone else that won the contest made by Web Rockers (Brazilian Production). There were amazing gifts from the fans and one in special was awesome! Made by Kelvin, take a look:

So, when it was my turn to meet the band, I told Taylor, Mark and Jamie (Ben was not feeling so well that night after the concert, so he was not at the M&G) that I am from TMN and they smiled to big, it was amazing to see it. Taylor said ‘I can’t believe I’m finally meeting you!’ and she also said ‘Hi, I was waiting for you! This is a gift to you!’ and then she gave me this:

The EP was actually a gift from a friend of mine, he gave me the EP signed by Taylor, Mark and Jamie. So cute!

She said Ben also signed it, but he was not feeling well to meet me. So, I took a picture with them and we started talking, but the Brazilian producers were calling me and saying I had to leave. Then I asked Taylor about what happened to Sean, Taylor said he had food poisoning, and he was not good at all. We talked a little bit, and I said I was going to meet them in Rio de Janeiro too. They were so nice to me, people can’t say Taylor is a cold person, or bad with her fans, cause she is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet, so are Mark and Jamie! A friend of mine asked me to tell them to sign his arm cause he is going to Tattoo the signatures and Taylor took off her sunglasses and said ‘WHAT? No way, wait a second! Let me write slowly cause this is such a permanent thing, oh my God!’, and Mark wrote something wrong, and signed again.. It was so much fun!

The only problem was the Brazilian Production, cause even though they said it was the band Production that told them to be a quick thing, we could see that the banda and crew, at least with me, were not hurrying up things at all. What a shame. They said we could not touch them, but with me things were completely different. Some friends of mine said I changed all the M&G rules, cause I had a great time there. Taylor said that our site is better than the band’s official site, that when she needs to know something about the band or anything else, she comes here to read it. Jamie said the same thing, but I’ll write later, cause it happened when I was in Rio. Taylor thank me so many time I was getting shy cause.. We just do what we love.

RIO DE JANEIRO (05/08/2012):
So, I am from Rio, and when I go to a concert there, I always meet friends and I have a great time. It’s amazing. But anyway. John sent me a message telling me that they had to move up the M&G time to before the show. Then he told me the place to meet Scotty and everything else. I was there with a friend of mine, and she also had her name on the list to meet the band. So, I met the same guy from the Brazilian Production and he began telling me I couldn’t do what I did in São Paulo, and I said it was not my fault, the band wanted to meet me. Gah, he is a mess, seriously. I know he was doing his job, but anyway. So, we got in, and I saw Scotty, and he said ‘Oh, you made it ’. And it was the same thing, I was the last person to meet the band and seriously, I couldn’t even breathe or say hi cause the Brazilian Production knew my face and they were telling me to be quick and were calling my name. I said ‘Taylor, they say I can’t even touch you guys, hahaha’. Taylor laughed and said ‘Nah, not a problem with me, you’re good’. But I didn’t want to get in trouble with anyone, so I did what they told me to. Mark gave me my pick and Ben was there, but I didn’t even had the time to say hi to him.

After they took my picture, I gave a big hug to John and damn, I’m in love with how cute and sweet he is. Seriously, what an amazing people they all are. Do not believe in anything bad you hear about The Pretty Reckless, cause it’s all a lie. They are so sweet. Jamie said he always go check the tour dates in our website, cause he never knows and Taylor-Momsen.Net is awesome.

The concert in Rio de Janeiro was perfect. The crowd was smaller but I think it was as louder as São Paulo! We could see half naked girls and it was fun!

Scotty, thanks for everything, and I love your tattoos. John, I still don’t have words to describe how amazing, sweet and awesome you are. THANK YOU. I couldn’t do without you.
